By Train: Liverpool Lime Street Station is the city’s main railway hub, with direct connections from cities across the UK. From Lime Street, you are a short walk or quick bus ride from the event venue.
By Bus: Liverpool’s bus network provides frequent service throughout the city. Use routes stopping near Lime Street or the Albert Dock area to reach the city centre.
By Car: If you are driving, there are several public car parks nearby. Look for secure options at Q-Park Liverpool ONE or Mount Pleasant Car Park. Be sure to book a spot in advance, as city centre parking can fill up quickly.
Walking: Liverpool’s city centre is compact and pedestrian-friendly, so exploring on foot is easy. You will find plenty of cafés, restaurants, and shops along the way!
Local Transit: Liverpool’s Merseyrail network connects the city centre to nearby areas. Consider getting a day pass if you plan to visit multiple neighbourhoods.

A: The VIP ticket grants you full access to all workshops, reserved seating for keynote sessions, and exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities with featured authors. You will also receive a LitWave gift bag with festival merch.
Q: Are there any discounts available?
Q: Do I need to register for specific workshops in advance?
A: Yes, some workshops have limited seating. We recommend reserving your spot in advance when you purchase your ticket. Once registered, you will receive an email confirmation for your selected workshops.
Q: Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
A: Absolutely. The Grand Hall Convention Centre is fully accessible, with ramps, elevators, and accessible restrooms. If you have specific needs, please contact us ahead of time so we can best accommodate you.
Q: Can I get a refund if I cannot attend?
A: We offer a full refund on tickets if you cancel at least two weeks before the event. Cancellations made within two weeks of the event are non-refundable, but tickets are transferable. Just let us know if you would like to transfer your ticket to another attendee.
Q: Is there parking available at the venue?
A: Yes, the venue offers on-site parking for a daily rate. Additional parking is available nearby, and we encourage public transportation to make your visit easier and greener!
Q: Can I bring my own books to get signed?
A: Absolutely! Bring your favourite books by our featured authors, or pick up their latest titles at our event bookstore. Please note that some signing sessions may have a limit on the number of books per attendee.
Q: Will there be food and drinks available at the event?
A: Yes! The venue will have food stalls offering a variety of snacks, meals, and beverages, including vegetarian and vegan options. There will also be coffee stations throughout the venue.
